A long time member of Sacred Fools Theater Company, she began her writing career with the musical Louis and Keely: Live at the Sahara (Ovation for best actress and best Musical two years in a row, LA Weekly Award for best musical, Garland, LADCC for best musical). Louis and Keely ran for two years in Los Angeles and became one of the longest running shows at the Geffen Playhouse before becoming a National Tour.

Her next piece Stoneface about Buster Keaton debuted at Sacred Fools and later moved to the Pasadena Playhouse in 2014. For the stage, she is currently working on a musical about serial killer HH Holmes entitled Deadly, slated for Sacred Fools’ 2019-2020 season. She’s also been commissioned to write the book for a jazz musical about post-Leninist Russia with composer Alexander Gershman entitled Hotel Metropol.

For TV/Film, she wrote and starred in the feature film Chase the Slut (Edinburgh Film Festival) and was a contributor to the film anthology “Girls Girls Girls” with Oscar winning actress Octavia Spencer. (San Diego Film Festival, LA Femme Film Fest). Currently, she is developing a TV Series about New Orleans called “Storyville” with Oscar winning director Taylor Hackford for Appian Way Production Company.
